This honor, awarded by The New Mexico Women's Magazine, has been bestowed upon Petranovich for 15 years, since the inception of the award in 1993.

Computer Corner, Inc. Chosen to Provide HP Desktop, Laptop, Notebooks, Servers and Tablet PC's to the State of New Mexico under New Save Smart Contract


January 29th, 2007 - Albuquerque, New Mexico - Computer Corner, Inc. has been chosen by the State of New Mexico to provide state agencies, municipalities, counties and education institutions with HP Desktops, Laptops, Servers and Tablet PC's under new SPD #70-000-00-04006.

Computer Corner replaces a former supplier whose contract was cancelled. Computer Corner the same products, with pricing that is equal to or better than what was being provided under the previous SaveSmart contract with the former supplier

This new contract augments existing contracts held between Computer Corner and the State of New Mexico which include HP Printers, Supplies and Services, Samsung Monitors, HP iPaqs and Palm's, as well as Technical Services (Break-Fix, Network, Installation and Maintenance.)

Computer Corner, Inc. Awarded Contract with Bernalillo County


January 19th, 2007 - Albuquerque, New Mexico - Computer Corner, Inc. has been chosen by the County of Bernalillo for computer hardware, software and services contract.

This contract has been awarded to Computer Corner for three consecutive terms of four years each, and extends to 2011, and includes nearly 200,000 products and services. Computer Corner is the only computer company who has been consistently chosen to serve Bernalillo County's needs.

President Carole Petranovich states, "We are honored to be selected once again for this contract. We believe that our consistent commitment to customer service is the primary reason that we continue to receive this valued contract."

Computer Corner, Inc. Now Offering Certified Microsoft (MCSE) Training

June 5, 2006 a national training company, CED Solutions, has selected - Albuquerque, New Mexico - Computer Corner to provide Microsoft Certification training.

Accomplished through 16-day Boot camps that provide the instruction as well as testing to complete six separate certifications in the 16 days, the classes run at the Computer Corner training center in Albuquerque.

Computer Corner is a Pearson Vue testing center for the full set of six Microsoft certifications and provides vouchers, included in the class, to the students. Students can learn, test and become certified all in the Computer Corner training center.

Computer Corner provides application training on all the major software titles, including XP, QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Crystal Reports, PhotoShop, Access, PowerPoint and many others, and has been providing this service to clients throughout New Mexico since 1989.

May 25, 2006 - Albuquerque, New Mexico - Computer Corner, Inc reacquires Apple Computer Sales authorization.

Computer Corner, long time reseller of virtually all major brands of computer hardware, software and peripherals, once again adds Apple Computer products to their product line. May 20, 2006 - Albuquerque, New Mexico - Computer Corner, Inc. awarded "Brighter
Futures" Alliance with Epson America.

Computer Corner named as authorized Epson dealer in New Mexico to provide educational
institutions throughout New Mexico special pricing and warranties on Epson LCD projectors
under Epson's Brighter Futures Program. Computer Corner was selected as a result of their dedication to supporting educational clients and as a result of their long history as the largest local, independent reseller of Epson's products. President, Carole Petranovich states, "We are honored to be part of this Epson program, which will save our schools their valuable budget dollars, and allow more technology to be available to schools in small towns that may have limited budgets." This program, which saves educational institutions upwards of 10% to 15% from standard, educational pricing, is available to schools of all types from K-12 to higher education, as well as training divisions of state and local government agencies.

Computer Corner - Carole Petranovich, honors Governor Richardson for Establishing Back to School Tax Holiday

August, 2005 - Albuquerque, New Mexico - Carole Petranovich, President of Computer Corner, spoke in honor of Governor Richardson's Press Conference on Thursday, August 4th, where he announced the 1st annual Gross Receipt's Tax Holiday. Thanking the Governor on behalf of local businesses, Petranovich noted that this "Back to School Tax Holiday" will provide an uplift to the economy, when buyers might normally buy on-line or go across state borders to participate in other state's tax holidays, they will now be encouraged to buy locally and support the state's economy. Saving families money on their computer supplies and other essentials is not limited to back-to-school buyers. Anyone can participate, as long as guidelines are met. Computer Corner is definitely participating and giving exemptions on gross receipts tax, per the Taxation and Revenue's guidelines. In fact, many people are pre-ordering, to avoid long lines, and will be coming in to pay for their order and pick it up on one of the tax exempt days. Per the Tax & Rev Dept, you may pick up products AFTER the tax holiday, as long as you pay for them during the tax holiday. Phone orders are acceptable.
