Run, don't walk, to your computer settings and make sure Microsoft Windows Defender Firewall is enabled.

For the average computer user, it is generally enough protection to ensure that Windows Defender Firewall is enabled and to ensure that your internet modem has its firewall enabled. As an additional layer of security, we recommend MalwareBytes Premium or Kaspersky Anti-Virus to our customers [Note: our customers get a discount on both products - call us for more info]. This is a triple layer of protection that will discourage the average hacker or "bot" looking for vulnerabilities. Similar to a "Protected by ABC Alarm Co." sign in your yard, you want to scare the bad guys away from your computer.
